BRIGHT BEGINNINGS | FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAM | LATINO FAMILY STRENGTHENING | FAMILY CONNECTION

BRIGHT BEGINNINGS
During the first three years, your baby will grow and develop more dramatically then during any other stage in life.  Meeting your child's needs for nurturing, stimulation, and health care is critical to building a strong foundation that will allow your child to succeed in school and life.  Bright Beginnings' programs are offered at no cost to any interested Colorado family with a child prenatal to age three without regard to income, age, or any other eligibility criteria.  Statewide programs are provided by 13 regional offices actively collaborating in local communities throughout Colorado.

FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAM
We have weekly parent/child activity groups at our Boulder site. The goal of these groups is to help parents find emotional support, connection to other families, and parenting information while their children interact in a stimulating environment.

Currently we have the following parent/child activity groups:
• Age specific groups for parents with infants, toddlers and mixed ages
• Language-based groups for families wanting their children to be bilingual and bicultural including: German, French, and Japanese. These groups often hold celebrations at our Boulder family resource center.
• Our evening Single Mom’s Support Group provides a safe and nurturing environment where moms can discuss a variety of issues and find friendship and support.  Dinner and child care provided.
• The Dad’s & Kids Group meets twice a month in the evening. A typical session will involve playtime for the children, food and beverages and conversation about fatherhood issues, including the good times and challenges.
• Workshops and parenting classes offer information, tools and support around relevant parenting issues.

See our Parenting Place Calendar for times and dates.
